Grady Ray Havens, Jr.

Grady "JR" Havens passed away on November 20, 2024, in Lindale, Texas. He was born on August 3, 1943, in Bonham, Texas to Grady Ray, Sr. and Edna (Gilley) Havens.

JR loved being outdoors, fishing and hunting. He could often be found at estate and garage sales, always on the lookout for hidden treasures, sharing stories and laughter with those around him. Retirement was not just a chapter for JR; it was a celebration of life, as he relished the time spent with family, enjoying the simple pleasures that life had to offer.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 62 years, Kathryn June (McAdams) Havens; son, Keith Havens; brothers, Cramer Havens and wife Debbie, Richard Havens and wife Diana, Randall Havens; sister, Sandy Kelsey; grandchildren, Kerri, Amanda, Justin, Cody and Aiden; along with 14 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

JR was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Beverly Havens; brothers, Jerry Havens and James Havens.

Visitation will be held on November 25, 2024, at Hollybrook Baptist Church in Holly Lake Ranch, Texas, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Danny McAdams officiating.
