Goldia Faye Gafford

Services for Goldia Gafford, 79, of White Oak, Texas, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater, Texas, with Brother Vincent Williams officiating. Interment will be in Greenview Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Mrs. Gafford passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015 in White Oak. Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Mrs. Gafford was born to Terry Edward and Fannie Maye Cantrell in Cooper, Texas, on October 31, 1935. She was a Baptist and a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her son Kenneth Daryl Gafford and wife, Susie; daughters, Sharon Denise Oliver and husband, Chuck and Terri Yvonne Poenitzsch; six granddaughters, Mandy Gafford Williams and husband, Vincent, BrandiWyne Lea Duhon, Brittany Gafford Kuhn and husband, Ryan, LauralLee Ann Duhon, Courtney LeeAnn Poenitzsch, and Lexie "Alexandria" Joy Poenitzsch; seven great-grandchildren, Braylon, Creslynn, Micah, Ryley, Tristan, Cambren, and Aspyn. Mrs. Gafford was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kenneth Lee Gafford. Vistation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 17, 2015.
