Glenda Merle Silvertooth

Services for Glenda Merle Silvertooth, age 97, of Gladewater, will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Interment will follow at the Old White Oak Cemetery in White Oak. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Silvertooth passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019, in Longview.

Glenda was born on April 28, 1922, in Gorman, Texas to the late Luther Franklin Cunningham and America Asley Carter Cunningham one of six children. She was a faithful active member of the Pine Tree Church of Christ for many years. Glenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, ceramics, gardening and working in her yard. Glenda worked for many years as a Beauty Operator before retiring. She will truly be missed by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.

Glenda is survived by two sons Wade Lott and wife Regina and Glenn Lott and wife Welta; two step daughters Brenda Silvertooth and Joyce Giddings; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband; five sisters; two sons Jackson Lott and Mark Lott and step son Warren Silvertooth.
