Gary Wayne Davis, Jr.

Gary Wayne Davis, Jr., age 52, of Pittsburg, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at his home. He was born on October 29, 1968, in Gilmer to Gary and Betty (Gilliam) Davis, Sr. He worked as a self-employed carpenter, contractor, and a Baptist. He loved his carpentry work, enjoyed painting, and was learning to play the guitar.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Betty Davis, Sr.; son Adam Davis; daughters, Lucy Davis, Heather Davis, Rebeca Davis; brothers, Jeffrey and Gerald Davis; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, in the Sand Hill Cemetery at 3275 FM 555, Gilmer, TX 75645, with Bro. Steve Layton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
