Gary Lynn Collinsworth

Gary Lynn Collinsworth, 70, of Gilmer, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in Gladewater, TX. Funeral services for Mr. Collinsworth will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 16, 2022, at Grace Baptist Church in Gladewater with Bro. Jim Withers officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Croley Funeral Home on Sunday, May 15, 2022.

Gary was born September 9, 1951, in Dallas to the late Arlis and Mary Sides Collinsworth. He grew up in Lewisville, Texas until he moved to Gilmer in 1979. He was owner of A&A Service Company where he worked as an air conditioner and appliance repair man and was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Gladewater, where he was the song leader for over 30 years. Gary never met a stranger, and he will be greatly missed by the many friends, customers, and family members he leaves behind.

Gary is survived by his daughters, Anna Thomas of Gilmer, Keasha Barnes and husband, Tim of Gladewater, and Holly Hale and husband, Cody of Granbury; brothers, Brent Collinsworth and wife, Bonnie of Houston and Steven Collinsworth of Gilmer; sister, Julie Smith and husband, Kevin of Rosewood; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Collinsworth and his parents.
