Gary Howard Kizer

Funeral services for Gary Howard Kizer, age 75, of Big Sandy, will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater, with Bro. Bailey Harris and Bro. John Tolan officiating, interment will follow at Gladewater Memorial Park, with Joel Blackmon, Noah Blackmon, William Blackmon, Jonah Blackmon, Caleb Markham, Tyler Weaver, Tanner Weaver, Lane Weaver, Morgan Weaver, and Connor Blodgett serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Gary was born in Hugo, OK., on February 22, 1942 to the late Harry and Frances Campbell Kizer. He worked as a Funeral Director and Embalmer, a Florist, in the oil field sales industry, the automobile auction industry and at the time of his passing, for Wal-Mart in Kilgore. He loved to fish and hunt, and spend time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Bernadette Gage Kizer; second wife, Sallie Wilbanks Kizer; son, Gary Kizer, Jr.; daughter, Anjeanett Kizer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Carolyn Kizer of Big Sandy; son, Kris Kizer and wife Mandy of Brock; daughter, Karen Blackmon and husband Rickie of Gladewater, Jacque Markham and husband Steve of Round Rock; step-sons, Terry Weaver and wife Kristi of Roanoke, Todd Weaver and wife Raecheal of Wylie; step-daughter, Tammy Blodgett and husband Matt of Frisco; and eighteen grandchildren.
