Freda Greene Scott

Graveside service for Freda Greene Scott, 63, of Tyler, will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 2, 2020, at Rosewood Cemetery with Bro. Charles Johnson officiating. Ms. Scott passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, in Tyler.
Ms. Scott was born June 14, 1957, in Portales, New Mexico, to the late Fred and Vina Lou Frazier Greene. Freda will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and will be truly missed by her children, grandchildren, and friends that she leaves behind.
Freda is survived by son, Bodie Scott and daughter-in-law, Ashley Van Horn; daughter, Llana Scott; brother, J.R. Windsor; sisters, Reba Smith and husband, John, and Karla Dugger and husband, Eddie; brother-in-law, William Gholson; as well as four grandchildren, Christian Scott, Leela Scott, Tristen Henderson, and Joshua Barnard.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale Scott; and sister, Patricia Lou Gholson.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 9:00 until 11:00 AM at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
