Frankie Doris Sims

Services for Frankie Sims, 87, of Diana will be at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Macedonia Baptist Church, with Brother Lance Sims and Brother Richard Sims officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will follow at Ashland Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, from 5pm to 7pm at the Grubbs-Loyd Chapel in Diana. She passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at her home in Diana.
Frankie was born November 2, 1931 in Fort Worth, TX to Carl Henry Watts and Birdie Pruitt Watts. She was a member of the Ashland Eastern Star Chapter 961 and was a loving mother and grandmother to her kids and family.
Frankie is survived by her sons and daughter in laws; Bobby and Shelia Sims, Richard and Renee Sims, Danny and Jeanne Sims, and Pam Sims, her daughter and son in law; Louann and Buddy Wright, and 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill Sims, sisters; Peggy LaNell Watts and Caroline Watts brother; Ted Watts sons; Larry and Donnie Sims.
