Frankie Ann York

Funeral Services for Frankie Ann York, 74, of Gladewater will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Whitfield officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater. Interment will follow services at Gladewater Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home. Mrs. York passed away Friday, February 21, 2020, in Longview.

Frankie was born March 11, 1945 in Kilgore, Texas to the late Frank Emmil and Iva Lee McVay. Mrs. York is retired from the Gladewater I.S.D. after many years as a school teacher. Frankie enjoyed spending time with family and friends; she dearly loved her family. Frankie will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker.

She is survived by husband Tim York; son Danny York and wife Rebecca; daughter Lisa Walker and Zack; six grandchildren Tony Walker, Jason Walker, Braley Gray, Timothy Walker, Ryan York, Brittany Vickers; twelve great grandchildren Brandon Walker, Zachary Walker, Abel Walker, Grant Walker, GiGi Walker, Aiden Walker, Cody Walker, Elizabeth Walker, Adam Vickers, Josh Vickers, Zack Walker and Zayn Garcia as well as many other loving family and friends.

Frankie is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Linda Jones.
