Francis Pauline Parker

Graveside services for Mrs. Francis Pauline Parker, 90 of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M, Friday, November 18, 2010, at Lafayette in Upshur County with Bro. Charles Nicholson officiating. Mrs. Parker passed away on Wednesday November 17, 2010 in Gilmer, Texas. She was born on November 23, 1919, in Hickory Flat, Mississippi to Ellis Mitchell Goad and Ira McGroom Goad. Mrs. Parker was a Baptist and a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Lester Scott of West Memphis, Ark; daughter, Brenda Brooks of Gilmer; sisters, Sadie Worley of Greensburg, La, Mary Capace of Baton Rouge, La, Shirley Seal of Jackson, La., Lafolia Davis of Silver Creek, Mississippi and Elsie Johnson of Deham Springs, La; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Tim Jones, Roy Jones, Charles Jones, Jason Millican, Mike Eslinger and Trenton Ballowe. Joe Ballowe will serve as honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends before the service.
