Francis Elizabeth Baird

Mrs. Francis Elizabeth Baird, age 91, of Gladewater, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at her home in Gladewater. Fran was born in Mount Pleasant on September 24, 1928 to the late Clarence Aubrey Green and Rosa Bell Perry Green. She was a homemaker, a talented seamstress, and a devoted and active member of the First Baptist Church of Gladewater. She enjoyed doing her word search puzzles, playing 42, and spending an afternoon or evening dining out and exploring the town with her friends. She had a joyful spirit about her, which will be remembered and truly missed by the loved ones she leaves behind.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd Baird; and brother, Clarence Aubrey Green, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Phillip Dean Baird of Katy; grandson, Blaine Baird; great-grandchildren, Zoey and Alicia; caregivers, R.D. Miller, Potisha McDonald, and Cassie LaBarge.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater, with Bro. Bailey Harris officiating, interment will follow at Chilton Cemetery in Big Sandy.

Honorary Pallbearers are Steven Best, John Cox, Billy Joe Stevens, and Dr. Kenneth Skipper.
