Services for Mrs. Frances Lucille Spurgeon, 90, of Plano will be held 10:00 A.M, Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Collin Creek Church in Plano, Texas with Pastor Robert Posner officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Interment to be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Grice Cemetery in Upshur County. Mrs. Spurgeon passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013, in Plano. She was born July 20, 1922, in Commerce, Texas to Bert and Iowa Worley Jackson. Mrs. Spurgeon was a homemaker and a member of Collin Creek Church in Plano. She is survived by her sons, Ronald Spurgeon of Arlington, Donald Spurgeon of Fairbanks, Alaska; daughters, Phyllis Miears of Navada, TX, Sandra Myrick of Plano; brother, Bill Jackson of AZ; sister, Edna Jean Moyer of NC; twelve grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Spurgeon was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Spurgeon; one grandchild and one great grandchild. Pallbearers will be Steve Winns, Bobby Gann, Broc Boyd, Isaak Boyd, Cory Vaughn and Brandon Vaughn. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 27 from 8:30 A.M until the service at the church and 2:45 P.M. at the graveside service.
