Frances Elnora Stevens

Frances Elnora Stevens, 89, of Gladewater, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2015, in Longview, Texas. She was born to Elmo and Claudia Teague Washington in Olney, Texas, on March 27, 1926. Cremations services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Stevens is survived by her daughter, Teresa Hall of Longview, Texas; sister, Martha Mosier; brother, George Washington; five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and four grandkittens. She was a loving mother who loved laughter and befriended birds and other animals. She was also the maker of delicious fried apricot pies and awesome chicken and dumplings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Stevens; son, Mike Stevens; and her parents.
