Flossie Helpenstill

Funeral services for Flossie Helpenstill, 78, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Reverend J.P. Story officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer.

Mrs. Helpenstill passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 and was born on February 17, 1938 in Joaquin, Texas to Homer and Ethel Cox. She married Ray Helpenstill on June 25, 1975. Mrs. Helpenstill retired from Safeway and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Longview, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Helpenstill of Gilmer; sons, Beau Lee and wife, Krystal of Austin, Texas, Kelly Helpenstill and wife, Kathy of Searcy, Arkansas, Kevin Helpenstill of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Sue Story and husband, Jeff of McLeod, Texas, Wendy Nance and husband, Jeff of Harmony, Texas, Stormy Tullar and husband, Jeremy of Gilmer, Texas; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Ethel Cox; son, William Cross and daughter, Opal Barnes.

Pallbearers for the service will be Beau Lee, Jeremy Tullar, Jeff Nance, Jonathan Whittemore, Steven Terry and Mike Lee.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
