Ethel Eloise Watkins

DIANA �Graveside services for Ethel Eloise Evans Watkins, 86, of Hughes Springs will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Walnut Creek Cemetery, in Diana. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Eloise went to her heavenly home on Friday, August 17, 2013 after a long illness of COPD. She was born in Old Jamestown/Diana Texas on May 29, 1927. Eloise was preceded in death by two sons: Wesley Todd Cryer and Tommy Lee Cryer, and a daughter Joyce Marie Powers. Those who continue to carry her love in their hearts are sons: Danny Lee Barnett of Hughes Spring, TX, James Edward Cryer II of Bowelltown, TN., daughters: Bettye Smith of Lone Star, TX., Linda Lou Tidwell of Deer Park, TX., Nancy Denise Landrum of Liberty, TX. Eloise was blessed with 29 Grandchildren, 39 Great-grandchildren and 19 Great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by 5 sisters and one brother and was next to oldest sister in this Evans family of twelve children. One sister, three brothers and mother Mittie Reeves and father Daniel Harrison Evans preceded her to their Eternal Home. Eloise has a very large family that will truly miss this lovely lady. Pallbearers are Michael Smith, Kevin Smith, Ryan Smith, Matthew Smith, Danny Barnett Sr., Danny Barnett Jr. and Honorary Pallbearer Mike Smith. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, 6 to 8 P.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
