Esther Ruth Langford

Funeral services for Esther Ruth Langford, 88, of Hawkins will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Liberty Baptist Church in Wood County with Bro. Gary K. Vaughan officiating. Interment will be in the Liberty Cemetery in Wood County. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mrs. Langford passed away Thursday, December 12, 2012 in a Longview nursing home. Mrs. Langford was born June 4, 1925 in Hawkins to John Columbus and Maggie Mare Minshew Snow. She was a homemaker, lifetime resident of Hawkins and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Gloria Langford Mathis; stepson, Mickey Langford; brother, Tommy Snow; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Langford is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rufus Langford died in 1978; infant twin brothers; sisters, Willie May Snow Bennett, Louise Florence Snow Trimble and Mavis Snow Trimble. Pallbearers will be Mickey Langford, Larry Trimble, Joseph McWilliams, Steven McWilliams, Jerry Trimble, David Catlett and Joe Paul McDougal. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
