Dean Hughes DIANA �Services for Dean Hughes, 76, of Diana will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 19, 2011 at Grubbs-Loyd Chapel, in Diana, with Brother Marvin Denison officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be at Mattox Cemetery. He passed away August 17, 2011 in Longview. Dean was born March 27, 1935 in Titus County, Texas to Claude David & Pearge Hughes. He was a retired welder who loved his family and helping other people. Dean always enjoyed his horses and just being outside. He is survived by his wife: Donna Hughes, son: Clinton Hughes of Gilmer, daughters & sons-in-law: Cassandra & Kenneth Allen of Diana and Carrie & Sammy Nelson of Diana, Sisters: Jeanett Lopez, Rachel Taylor and Dell Starrett, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers John & Elmer Hughes and sister Margie Reynolds. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 18, 2011, 6-8 p.m. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
