GILMER - Funeral services for Emma Laverne Denton Warren, 91, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, with her two of her nephews, Tim Mask and Mickey Denton officiating. Interment will be Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Mrs. Warren passed away Tuesday morning, February 24, 2015. Emma was born March 23, 1923 in Kelsey Creek Bottom. She was the second of nine children born to Thomas Denton and Connie Lindsey Denton. On May 20, 1941, Emma married Earl Warren who preceded her in Death on January 29, 1998. To this union, four sons were born. Emma is survived by her four sons, Maurice Warren and wife, Tricia of Gilmer, Tom Warren and wife, Lil of Lavon, TX, Bill Warren and wife, Brenda of Longview, and Jerry Warren and wife, Darlene of Gilmer; grandchildren, ShaLa Kiolbassa and husband, Frank, Rona O'Brien and husband, Jay, Vicki Spooner and husband, Jason, Stan Warren and wife, Janet, Chris Warren and wife, Monica and Chelsea Warren in the US Navy; step-grandchildren, Chad Hickl, Stephanie Brush and husband, Greg, and Lindsay Barker and husband, Andrew; brother, Buck Denton of Gilmer; two sisters, Brenda Johnson of Gilmer, and Carol Pate and husband, Tom of Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Dorothy Hendrix of Tatum; numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Emma was proceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, three sisters and a number of brother and sister-in-laws. Pallbearers will be sons, Maurice, Tom, Bill, and Jerry; grandsons, Stan and Chris and great-grandson, Frank Kiolbassa. Family request memorial be made to the Kelsey Cemetery Association. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
