Elton was born June 6, 1938, in Hawkins, TX to the late Lewis and Vera (Welk) Snider. He is survived by his brother, Ernest Dale Snider of Mexia, TX; and sister, Lavonia Stone and husband Gene of Hawkins, TX.
He is preceded in death by his parent, brother, Lewis Clyde Snider; and sister, Billie Joan Snider.
