Elton Boyd

Funeral services for Elton Boyd, 67, of Cedar Park, Texas will be held at 12:00 noon, on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Laney Pierson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. He passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in Houston.

Mr. Boyd was born on April 13, 1949, in Littlefield, TX, to Oscar Jay and Beatrice Boyd. He served many years in the Army, serving in Vietnam.

He was preceded by3 daughters: Hope, Alyssa, and Alison Boyd. He is survived by sons: Jeremy and Jonathan Boyd; daughter, Brandi Boyd; brothers, Sam and Meredyth Boyd; a sister, Patricia Argyle; and grandchildren, Chelsea and Clara Boyd.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
