Elna Vern Perry

Services for Mrs. Elna Vern Perry, 89, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M, Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at Gilmer Church of Christ and interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Gilmer. Mrs. Perry passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2010 in Gilmer. She was born August 14, 1921, in Ada, Oklahoma to Milton Matthew Kent and Rosa Helen Holland Kent. Mrs. Perry was a homemaker and a member of Gilmer Church of Christ. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, D. D. and Paula Perry of Gilmer; sister, Dorla Hill of Gilmer; grandson Michael Don Perry and his wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Brandon Perry, Ciara Shipley, Brandy Huhman, Amanda Perry; four great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren. Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Perry in 1994 and grandson, Mark Perry. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
