Funeral services for Elizabeth Ashley McElhannon, 13, of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 17, 2015 at First Assembly of God Church in Gilmer with Reverend David Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Elizabeth passed away in Longview on Sunday, July, 12, 2015. She was born on June 1, 2002 to Harold Franklin McElhannon, Jr. and Lorretta Matsuo. Elizabeth was a member of First Assembly of God Church and attended Bruce Jr. High School in Gilmer. She is survived by her mother, Renee Matsuo of Gilmer; brother, Chris McElhannon and wife, Teresa of Longview, sisters Randie Lee and husband, Christopher of Longview, Sheri Canterbery and husband Randy of Longview; grandparents, Rosita Van Dusen, Ross Van Dusen and Matthew Matsuo; nieces and nephews, Alyssa and Caleb McElhannon, Cameron Lee, Autumn Canterbery and Hayden Lee; also survived by aunts and uncles Debra and Jerry Tincher, Carolyn and Perry Haney and Pamela Brandon. Preceded in death by her father, Harold McElhannon, Jr.; grandparents, Harold McElhannon, Sr. and Donna Matsuo. The family will receive friends at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer on Thursday, July 16, 2015, 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
