Eleanor M. Hiles

DIANA: Services for Eleanor M. Hiles, 87, of Longview, will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Grubbs-Loyd Chapel in Diana, with Chaplain Lawrence Thompson and Brother J.D. Cutler officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will follow at Ore City Cemetery. She passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 in Longview.

Mrs. Hiles was born March 22, 1930 in Pittsburg, Texas to Earnest and Pearl Hobbs. She retired from Catfish Village Restaurant in Ore City, and enjoyed her membership in the Garden Club and Bowling League. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ore City.

Mrs. Hiles is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Jacky and Robin Hiles and Dave and Lisa Hiles, daughter and son-in-law: Kimberly and Clint McClain, sister and brother-in-law: Ruby and Billy Martin, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and special friend to the family: Kimberly Whorton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 41 years, Albert J. Hiles, and brothers Billy Hobbs and Carol Hobbs.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 6-8 p.m. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. They would like to extend a special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice for their care of Mrs. Hiles.
