Edwin Thomas Warren

Edwin Thomas Warren, 83, of Gilmer, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 in Longview. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. A memorial service will be held 2-4PM, Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Glenwood First Baptist Church.

Edwin was born October 12, 1937 in Whitehouse, Texas, to Eugene and Ada Warren. He worked 35 years in maintenance at Stroh’s Brewery in Longview. He was a member of the Pine Tree Masonic Lodge and Glenwood First Baptist Church.

Edwin is survived by his wife of 37 years, Betty Warren, sons, Shane Warren, Carlos Warren, step daughters, Nancy Steddum, Marcia Childs, brother, Dick Warren, sister in law, Pat Warren, sisters, Cherry Lee, Marilee McCabe and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
