Eddie "Moose" Kent

Memorial service for Eddie "Moose" Kent, 55, of Gilmer will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Fox officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Moose died in a four-wheeler accident on his farm in Gilmer on Friday, July 31, 2015. Moose was born on November 18, 1959 in Houston to Edwin R. and Patsy Ann Duffey Kent. The Kent family moved from Houston to Gilmer where Moose lived and worked for over 30 years. He married Deborah Kent in 1995. Moose worked as an Electrician for over 35 years, owning his own business and taking pride in his work. Moose will be remembered for his honesty and integrity, an independent nature, and the love and friendship he shared with so many. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Kent of Gilmer; son, Chris Fox and wife, Yen of Dallas; daughter, La Donna Fox Schneller and husband, Ian of Elk Ridge, Maryland; parents, Edwin R and Patsy Ann Kent; sister, Rene Dyer and husband, Phil of Gilmer; four grandchildren, Cole Schneller, Carson Schneller, Morgan Fox and Ford Fox; niece Brooklyn Dyer of Gilmer. No formal visitation is scheduled.
