Funeral Services for Mr. Earl Bailey, 64 of Gilmer, will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with Reverends Brian Zappa and Kenneth Antley officiating. Interment will follow at West Mountain Cemetery in Upshur County. Mr. Bailey passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015, in Longview. "Fought A Good Fight" He was born in Oswego, New York on February 3, 1951 to Edward Joseph Bailey and Marjorie Ethel Mandigo Bailey. Earl was a diesel mechanic at Pine Tree ISD and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother, Marjorie McLaughlin; wife, Judy Ferguson Bailey; five sons, Adam, Mark, Joel, and Darryl Bailey and Joey Gage; three daughters, Megan Garrett, Lynn Waters, Jody Shelley Fieros; one brothers, Jerry Bailey; three sisters, Carolyn Mosher, Mary Kellogg and Patty O"Donnell; 24 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers for the service are Billy Joe Davis, Charles Hawley, H. D. Ferguson, Farrell Heard, Augustin Fieros and Jimmy Jackson. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00P.M. at the funeral home.
