Duell Ray Davidson

Services for Duell R. Davidson, 71, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 2, 2012 at First Baptist Church with Bro. Blake Landers and Bro. Rick Rigsby officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Davidson passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011 in Gilmer He was born on May 10, 1940, in Gilmer to Leslie Duell and Jessie Viola Dodson Davidson. Mr. Davidson was a member of 1st Baptist Church and a Lineman for Upshur Rural Electric until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Linda Davidson of Gilmer; Son and daughter"in-law, Anthony Ray and Misty Davidson of Gilmer; daughter and son-in-law, Linda Kathryn and Thomas Myers of Longview; brother, Ronnie Eugene Davidson and his wife Leah of Gilmer, Johnnie Edward Davidson and his wife, Jane of Gilmer; sister Peggy Davidson Manley and husband, James of Gilmer; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Davidson was preceded in death by his parents.
