Dorothy Perdue Galbraith

Services for Dorothy Dell Galbraith, 95, of Big Sandy will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 23, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Mr. Lyle Hinsdale officiating and burial to follow at West Mountain Cemetery. Mrs. Galbraith was born November 30, 1917, in Upshur County Texas, to Ernest E. and Inez Dunagan Perdue and she passed away on Friday September 20, 2013, in Tyler. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Galbraith is survived by her three sons, Lawrence C. Galbraith III and his wife Nancy of Lake Fork, Donald P. Galbraith of Big Sandy and David N. Galbraith and Christene of Big Sandy; daughter Dianne Galbraith of Big Sandy; sisters, Lawana Hill of Gladewater and June Justice of Big Sandy, Numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, one great "great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence C. Galbraith, Jr. and son, Ernest E. Galbraith. The family will receive friends on Sunday September 22, 2013 from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
