Donnie Ray Rosenbalm

Funeral service for Don “D.R.” Rosenbalm, 72, of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M, Saturday July 21, 2018, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. Ray Evers and Bro. William Carnley officiating, interment to follow service at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Family will receive friends Friday, July 20, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home. Mr. Rosenbalm passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 in Longview.

D.R. was born on June 24, 1946, in Greenville, Texas to L.E. and Rosa (Evers) Rosenbalm. He lived most of his life in Upshur County and was a self-employed Real Estate investor and home builder. Mr. Rosenbalm was also of the Assembly of God faith.

D.R. is survived by the love of his life, Jackie Barkley; mother; Rosa Rosenbalm; son, Edwin Rosenbalm and wife, Tina; and sisters, Sheila Stoller, Shirley Herron and husband, Ted; grandchildren, Cody Rosenbalm, Courtney Rosenbalm, Brittney Rosenbalm, Chelsi Thompson; and great grandchildren, Kyleigh Bias, Kinsley Bias, and Rylan Thompson.

He is preceded in death by his father, L.E. “Bud” Rosenbalm; and son, Tony Rosenbalm.
