Donna Henson Venn

Funeral services for Mrs. Donna Henson Venn, 85, of Gilmer, Texas will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with Bro. Wayne McKay officiating. Interment will follow at Morris Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas.

Mrs. Venn passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in Longview. She was born on December 11, 1931 in Perryville, Texas to Albert and Mardivey McAlister Henson. Mrs. Venn was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star, Gilmer Chapter 355 and a past Worthy Matron. She was also a member of Grace Baptist Church in Gilmer.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Clayton and Debra Venn of Gilmer; brothers, Jack Henson of Perryville and Ronald Henson of Winnsboro; sisters, Paula Christopherson of Appleton, Wisconsin, Virginia Gipson of Grice, Texas, Sherrill Weems of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Eric Venn and his wife Cassie, Evan Venn and his wife Stephanie and great grandchildren, Tristan Venn, Madisyn Venn, Rylann Venn and Teagann Venn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Venn and her parents, Albert and Mardivey Henson.

No formal visitation will be held.
