Donna Larese Pritchett Archer

Donna Larese Pritchett Archer, 72 Of Gilmer passed away on Monday July 10, 2023. Donna was born December 16,1950 to Guy and Doris Moore Pritchett. Donna grew up in Longview and went to school in Spring Hill where she was a cheerleader until High School. Once she began her High School years she moved to Dallas where she attended W. W. Samuel High School. Donna enjoyed the band and was a first chair 3rd trumpet player. Donna had a passion for music .Donna toured the East coast singing "Alto" in the New Christian Singers" youth group at Bethany Baptist Church in Dallas. Donna graduated from W.W. Samuell High School and attended Draughton's Business College in Dallas. Donna worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield in Dallas. At the age of 21 she married and began her family, having two children. In 1979, she moved to East Texas where she began her job, as a paralegal for Attorney David Robertson in Longview. Donna soon after began her twenty year career for the Texas Department of Public Safety issuing drivers license. Donna worked for DPS in Canton, Longview and ending her career and retiring from the Gilmer Texas Department of Public Safety .

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Guy and Doris Moore Pritchett.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children;  Daughter Dana Stone and spouse Amy and son Danny Jackson and wife Jennifer,  Her step mother Karen Pritchett, siblings; Michael Pritchett (Debbie), Scott Stone (Cathy), Stephen Pritchett (Sheri), Lance Pritchett (Angela). 
Grand children; Rebecca Mitchell, Daniel Jackson, Alexander Jackson, and Donovan Jackson. One Great grandchild William Mitchell, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and life long friends.

Services for Donna Archer will be under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral home in Diana . A Memoral Service will be held on Saturday August 5, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grubbs - Loyd Chapel in Diana.
