Donald F. Evans

Memorial services for Donald Evans, 69, of Gilmer will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday February 19, 2012 at Southside Baptist Church in Gilmer, with Rev. Ronnie Ryan officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. He passed away on February 16, 2012 in a Longview hospital. Mr. Evans was born June 24, 1943 in Cooper, Texas to Mr. & Mrs. Floyd Evans. He was self-employed in the dry wall business and a member of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife: Roberta Evans of Gilmer; son, Tracy Evans of Gilmer; daughter, Donella Angenend of Gilmer; brothers, Mike Evans of Gilmer and Paul Smith; sisters, Judy Smith and Judy Watson both of Gilmer; grandchildren, Christa Evans, Keira Angenend, Garrett Files, Tracy Evans and Stephanie Alexander; great-grandchild, Kianna Frick. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Stacy Evans and brother, Larry Smith.
