Donald Edward Walls

Donald Edward Walls, born December 10, 1924 in Indianapolis, Indiana, died in his sleep early Tuesday morning, November 14, 2017. To borrow a verse from Genesis, he died in a good old age—just a few days short of his 93rd birthday—an old man and full of years, and was gathered to his people.

Donald is survived by his brother Kenneth and sister-in-law Harriet, son Don Jr. and daughter-in-law Carol, grandson Daron Walls and wife Kimberly, granddaughter Darcy Stahl and husband Jonathan, along with 12 great-grandchildren.

He often expressed his longing to be reunited with Emily, his beloved wife of 65 years. He was comforted by the assurance that, in God’s time, he would see her again.

The family will hold a private memorial service.
