Donald Connery

Funeral services for Donald Connery, 59, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M, Friday, May 8, 2015, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with David Webber and Steven Sutton officiating. Interment will follow at East Mountain Cemetery in Upshur County. He passed away in Longview on Friday, May 1, 2015 in Longview. Mr. Connery was born on May 19, 1955, in Cranston, Rhode Island to Daniel Connery, Sr. and Dorothea Forbes Connery. He served in the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Connery was a trach and vent Nurse and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Longview. He is survived by his wife, Joy Kindred Connery of Gilmer; mother, Dorothea Connery of Warwick, RI. sons, Jorth Connery and wife, Kelly and Dan Connery both of Alexandria, VA; daughter, Delia McKinney and husband, Ryan of Denison, TX; brother, Daniel Connery, Jr. of Barrington, RI; 4 grandchildren, Justice Connery, Sadie Connery, Alexis Fiser and Micah Fiser. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Connery, Sr. and sister, Ann Marie Connery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015, from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home.
