Destanie Danielle Kemp

Destanie Kemp, 34, of White Oak, Texas passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023.  Destanie was born in Waco, Texas on June 17, 1989 to her loving mother, Cynthia Kilgore and her father, Bodie Mills Sr. She grew up in Mildred, Texas before moving to White Oak, Texas in 2018.

Destanie never met a stranger, she left a mark on every person she met. She had the brightest and most bubbly personality that shined from the minute you met her. After moving to East Texas in 2018 she made new friends that cherished her as did anyone who she crossed paths with.  Destanie loved to fish and was also an excellent mechanic always tinkering with cars. Destanie cherished her family especially her daughters who were her world.  She will be missed by all who had to honor of knowing her. 

Destanie is survived by her beloved daughters, Raeleigh Normandin and Gracie Kemp; her mother and step father, Cynthia and Rickey Kilgore; siblings, Bodie Mills Jr., Kara Postalwait, Tristan Mills, Trevor Mills, Dakota Mills and Darian Mills. 

Destanie is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; her father, Bodie Mills Sr.; and cousins, Scott Dabbs and Steve Moore.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 21, 2023 at 2 in the afternoon at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas.
