Dennis Earl Pickett

Dennis Earl Pickett, has passed away at the age of 72. Born on September 15, 1950, in Gilmer, Texas, Dennis was known for his exceptional skill and passion for working on cars. 

Throughout his life, Dennis held a deep affection for cars, he also had a keen interest in racing cars. His enthusiasm for motorsports was infectious, and he spent countless hours tinkering with engines and fine-tuning vehicles to perfection. Beyond his professional and hobbyist pursuits, Dennis's greatest source of joy was his family. 

Dennis is survived by his two sons Coy and Jamie; daughter Nannita; brother Davey Pickett; and sister Gayle Pickett. In addition to immediate family members, Dennis leaves behind numerous other loved ones who will forever cherish the impact he had on their lives. 

To honor Dennis Earl Pickett's memory, a visitation will be held at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer on July 14th, 2023. The visitation will begin at 8:00 AM and conclude at 5:00 PM.  A private graveside service will follow under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer.
