Delma Ruth "Spivey" Denton

Funeral service for Delma Ruth "Spivey" Denton, 99, of Hawkins will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Hawkins with Dr. Bill Holmes officiating. Interment will be in the Hawkins Cemetery. Mrs. Denton passed Saturday, December 6, 2014 in Tyler. Mrs. Denton was born February 25, 1915, in Mexia, TX to Ervin and Carrie Hinson Spivey. She was a housewife and a member of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Denton is survived by her daughters, Donna Gunn of Hawkins and Vickie Brown and husband, Aaron of Hawkins; brothers, Woodroe Spivey of Buffalo, TX; grandchildren, Benny Gunn, Robby Gunn and wife, Annette, Wendy Burns and husband, Teddy and Renee Fannin and husband, Bryce; great-grandchildren, Braden Northcutt, Walker Fannin, Bryce Burns, Landen Burns, Maci Gunn, Madison Gunn and Morgan Gunn. Pallbearers will be Benny J. Gunn, Robby D. Gunn, Teddy Burns, Bryce Fannin, Johnny Kelley and Aaron Brown. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins.
