Debra Guinn Matthew

Services for Debra Guinn Matthew, 62, of Gladewater, will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at 11 A.M. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Gladewater with Brother David McGee officiating. Burial will be in Gladewater Memorial Park. Born on October 2, 1951, she entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. She was a retired clerk at Mike"s Mini Mart in Gladewater. She is survived by her husband, William C. Matthew of Gladewater; daughter, Melissa Fleming of Gladewater; son and daughter-in-law, William "Slim" and Stefanie Matthew of Gladewater; six grandchildren, Steven Fleming and wife Kristen of Gladewater; Samantha King and husband T.J. of Gladewater; Sabrina Fleming of Gladewater; Kane Matthew of Gladewater; Kadynce Matthew of Gladewater; and Kalvary Matthew of Gladewater; four great-grandchildren, Landen King, A.J. King, Kolbi Alverson, and Eli Fleming, all of Gladewater; mother, Cornelia Smith of Mineola; brother, Garry Thompson and wife, Sara, of Lindale; niece, Julie Benson of Lindale. She was preceded in death by her father, Triston Guinn. Pallbearers will be Steven Fleming, Kane Matthew, T.J. King, Eric Dickerson, Wayne Wesson, Brian Parsons, Josh Vaughn, and Kevin Knapps. Honorary pallbearer will be Jason Moore. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 13, 2013, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Everyone that met her loved "The Nana." She will be sorely missed by all those individuals whose lives she touched.
