Deanna Kay Steelman

Funeral services for Deanna Kay Steelman, 79, of Gilmer will be Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Marion Palmer officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Mrs. Steelman passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 in Longview.

Mrs. Steelman was born March 6, 1938 to the late Roy and Bernice (Waite) Edison in Klamath Falls, OR. She married the love of her life, Clovis W. Steelman on February 21, 1998 in Sacramento, CA. Deanna worked for 32 years as a U.S. Air Force Civilian analyst and was a part of various women’s organizations in Gilmer. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Gilmer.

Deanna is survived by her husband, Clovis Steelman; step-sons, Martin A. Steelman of Reno, NV, Robert L. Steelman of Portland, OR, James A. Steelman and wife Nancy of Milton, MA; step-daughter, Katherine Van Sickle and Husband Del of Bakersfield, CA; and nephew, Todd Edison of Portland, OR.

Mrs. Steelman is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Roy Edison.
