David "Snuffy" Kizer

Mr. David “Snuffy” Kizer, 72, of Gilmer, went home to be with the Lord on Friday November 13, 2020. He was born November 27, 1947, in Greenville, Texas, to Tilman Lafayette and Lonnie Elizabeth Kizer.

David worked for Dean Lumber for many years before retirement. He enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry Kizer, Frank Kizer, James Kizer, Joe Kizer; sisters, Florence Childress, Wanda Clifton and Linda Kizer Hennen.

David is survived by a daughter, Jaynice Thomas; a son, David Dewayne Kizer, Sr.; a brother, Robert Kizer; six grandchildren, David Dewayne Kizer, Jr., Dakota Kizer, Dillon Kizer, Caidon Thomas, Christina Thomas, Marissa Thomas; a great grandchild, Aurora Kizer, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Monday, November 16, 2020, at Life Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Gilmer.
