David Roy Henry

GILMER- A memorial graveside service for David Roy Henry, 78, of Gilmer, will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Mr. Henry passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016. He was born on February 23, 1937 in Texarkana, Texas to David L. Henry and Lillie Irene Turner. Mr. Henry married Aneita J. Hubbell on October 8, 1966 in Roswell, New Mexico. He retired from the United States Air Force, and was a member of the Workers Class of First Baptist Church Gilmer. Mr. Henry is survived by his loving wife, Aneita Henry of Gilmer; son, Jeffery Roy Henry and wife, Marilyn of Edgewood; daughters, Sandra Henry of Chandler, Aneita Michelle Henry of Camden, Tennessee, Jackie Jacks of Fort Walton Beach, Flordia; seven grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Lillie Turner Henry; brother, Paul; sisters, Loraine, Vera, Ruby, Pauline, and Marie. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
