David Logan Gross DIANA �Services for David Logan Gross, 37, of Union Grove, will be 10 AM Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at the Norton Lovell Auditorium in Diana, Texas with Johnny Coleman and Bro. Teddy Ott officiating. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery. Mr. Gross passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012. David was born October 30, 1974, in Longview, Texas, to Don and Joy Gross. He was the Agriculture Teacher at Diana ISD. David devoted most of his life to the Agricultural Sciences, and served in many positions. He was a member and Board of Director for the Vocational Ag Teachers Association of Texas, a livestock judge, Chairman of the Area Horse Judging, served as the District Ag President and was a member of the FFA Area Executive Committee. David is survived by his wife: Theresa Gross; parents: Don and Joy Gross; children: Stephen Martin and Tarynn Metcalf; brother: John Clayton Gross, and wife, Jessica; sister: Laura Kay Kroll, and husband, Steven and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6 PM to 8 PM, Monday, March 12, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the David Gross FFA Scholarship Fund, C/O Security State Bank, 1760 US Highway 259 S., Diana, Texas 75640.
