David Garrett

Services for David Garrett, 61, of Scroggins, will be at 2 PM Monday, August 13, 2012, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with Rev. Ray Richey officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove cemetery. Mr. Garrett passed away on Friday, August 10 in Dallas. David was born October 15, 1950, in Gilmer to Truman L. and Sybil M. Garrett. He worked as a warehouse clerk. Mr. Garrett is survived by a son: David Dee Garrett; brothers: Ronnie, Greg, and Jerry Garrett; sisters: Linda Clifton, Nancy Koons, Juanita Patterson, Ann Garrett, Paula Hathcoat; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 13 from 1 to 2 PM before the service.
