Funeral services for Mr. David Charles Willeford, 56, of Big Sandy will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday February 23, 2014, at The Assembly of God Church in Gladewater with Bro. Terril Pearson officiating. Burial will follow at Grice Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas. Mr. Willeford passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in Longview. He was born on March 2, 1957, in Longview, Texas to Billy Joe and Bonnie Jean Reed Willeford. On December 23, 1975, he married Myrna Hightower in Diana, Texas. Mr. Willeford was a self-employed welder and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Gladewater. He is survived by his wife, Myrna Gail Willeford of Big Sandy; children, Adam Charles Willeford and wife, Jenifer, Eric Nathan Willeford and wife, Rachel, Bonnie Kathryn Willeford, Anna Rose Hogan and husband, Kolby , Seth David Willeford and Hope Michelle Willeford; 8 grandchildren, Brittney, Halie, Joseph, Tyler, Toby, Kathryn, Ian and Aria; dad and stepmother, Billy Joe and Bobbie Willeford; brothers, Johnny Reed Willeford, Donald Lee Willeford and Tony Michael Rodgers; sister, Tami Michelle Carnes. Mr. Willeford was preceded in death by mother, Bonnie Jean Willeford and sister, Kathy Jo Willeford. Pallbearers are Johnny Willeford, Donald Willeford, Tony Rodgers, Adam Willeford, Eric Willeford and Seth Willeford. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
