Darrell Wayne Bowes

Graveside services for Darrell Wayne Bowes, 65, of Gladewater, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Gladewater Memorial Park on Thursday, December 29, 2016. Mr. Bowes passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016. There will be no formal visitation scheduled for this service.


Darrell Wayne Bowes was born to Leonard Leroy and Lois Laveda Bowes on January 25, 1951 in Dallas Texas. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Darrell especially loved music and playing the drums. He will be dearly missed by all the friends and family he leaves behind.

Mr. Bowes is survived by his sweetheart, Karol McAlister of Gladewater; step- son, Jason McAlister and wife, Robin of Gladewater; daughters: Jessica Hays and husband, Chris of Gladewater; Rebecca LeTourneau and husband, Johnny of Dallas ; step-daughter, Rebecca Vaughn and husband, Tim of Gladewater; brother, Donald Bowes and wife, Sue of Gateway, Colorado as well as eleven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
