Darcus Nell Teague

Celebration of Life services for Darcus Nell Teague, 77, of Gladewater will be Monday, April 9, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., at the New Life Fellowship Church in Gladewater. Mrs. Teague passed away at her home surrounded by family on Thursday, April 5, 2018.

She was born October 12, 1940 in El Dorado, Texas to the late Vernie Logan and Marlee Ottaberry. Darcus enjoyed interior decorating and sewing; making quilts for her children and grandchildren. She also loved to go shopping not only for herself but for others; with a love for shoes. Telling stories and visiting with her family was one of her greatest joys. Mrs. Teague was a very generous and loving lady. As a Bible Teacher and Associate Pastor at New Life Fellowship Church; she served as a surrogate mother and grandmother to her extended church family. Darcus will be truly missed by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Billy C. Teague; four children Sammy Crouch and wife Paula, Connie Sims and husband Larry, Ron Teague and wife Debbie and Billy Teague and wife Rhea Anne; sister Jo Johnson; brother Richard Wayne Logan; six grandchildren; one great grandchild as well as many other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the New Life Fellowship Church Bible College in Nigeria, P.O. Box 646, Gladewater, TX 75647.
