Danny Patrick Baker

Funeral services for Mr. Danny Patrick Baker, 58, of Tyler will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2010, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, Gilmer, with Gary Spraggins, Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Pritchett Community of Upshur County. Mr. Baker passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010, at Trinity Mother Francis Hospital, in Tyler. He was born March 4, 1952, in Austin to Joseph Lawrence and Ashia Ardessa (Dessa) Robertson Baker. Danny lived in Tyler for 28 years and worked for East Texas Dodge in automobile sales, later he worked for Elder Randall Dodge, Chrysler in Athens and Henderson, Texas. He was currently employed by Advantage Sales and Marketing where he was a sales representative in the East Texas area Wal-Marts. He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Tyler, daughter, Brandy Baker of Troup; one sister and brother-in-law, Joyce Ann Baker Bryant and Robert, of Deer Park; two brothers and sisters-in-law; Joe and Karen Baker of Austin, Stanley and Kathryn Baker of Gilmer; father and mother-in-law, Taylor and Toni Whitehead, sister-in-law and husband, Glenda and Dicky Harris, brother-in-law and wife, Randy and BJ Whitehead, stepson, Brad Vinson and his wife Angie all from Henderson; stepdaughter, Lindsey Spraggins and her husband Gary, Jr. of Rockwall; two grandchildren, Noah Andrew Baker, Makiah Annalynn Darden and one step-granddaughter, Lillian Marie Spraggins and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Gary Spraggins, Jr., Brad Vinson, Sterlin Bryant, Nicholas Bryant, Randy Bryant, Jonathan Bryant, Stephen Bryant, and Ricky Drennan.
