Daniel "Bunk" Phillips

Memorial visitation for Daniel “Bunk” Phillips, 42, of Hawkins, TX will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, August 2, 2019, at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Daniel tragically passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, in Hawkins.

Daniel was born March 31, 1977, in Baltimore, MD to Sheila Wade (Nazelrod) and Daniel Phillips, II. Daniel had also spent time living in Chicago. At the time of his passing, he was a resident of Wood County. Daniel will be greatly missed by many friends and family members throughout the country and Canada.

He is survived by his mother, Sheila Wade; step-father, Herman Wade; sons, Daniel Edward Phillips, IV, and Kyle Lee Ross; daughters, Karah Bennett and Kayla Hurley; brother, Leonard Blakenship; and sisters, Christina Spence and her husband, Paul Spence and Farrah Phillips (Dankha). Daniel also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
