Funeral services for Dan "Danny" Morris Phillips, 50, of Gilmer will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. Danny Warbington officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Mr. Phillips passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at his Shreveport, LA. Mr. Phillips was born February 21, 1965 in Jacksonville, TX to Dan M. Phillips, SR and June Cummins Phillips. He was a supervisor for Glitch. He is survived by his mother, June Phillips of Gilmer; brother, Kelly Phillips and wife, Angela of Waskom; sister, Casey Lawson and husband, Bill of Gilmer; son, Michael Phillips and wife, Sarah of Alverado; daughters, Brittany Phillips of College Station and Courtney Phillips of Burleson; grandchildren, Jaiden Phillips, Madyzen Phillips and Emmitt Phillips and many special friends and family. Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his father, Dan M. Phillips, Sr. and brother, James Christopher "Chris" Phillips.
