Dale P. Trepanier, age 65, of Big Sandy, passed away peacefully at home.
He was born in Joliet, Illinois on November 17, 1953, to Peter J. and Elvera J. Trepanier.
Dale is survived by his parents Elvera J. Trepanier and Peter J. Trepanier of Meza, AZ, his brother James E. Trepanier of Jefferson, TX, and sister, Catherine A. (Trepanier) Hook of Pleasant Hill, CA.
His brothers, Bruce C. Trepanier and John “Jack” A. Trepanier preceded him in death.
Dale loved nature and animals and enjoyed photographing them very much. He was very affectionate and good to his pets. Dale’s achievements in youth included placing 9th in the national soap box derby races in Akron, Ohio. After attending college, in his younger years, Dale worked with supplying and monitoring the performance of drill bits at oil drilling sites in West Texas. Dale enjoyed vintage cars like his 57 Chevy and loved 50’s era shows like Andy Griffith. Dale had a passion for vintage tools and was very skilled at tinkering with mechanical devices. Dale also enjoyed spending time at the Canton flea market and other trading sales.
He is lovingly missed by friends and family.
Dale will be buried at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview, near his brother Jack.
